I had such a wonderful response from you when I originally introduced my Art Nouveau cushion designs to the ZIVA Collection.

Their fluid and elegant contours lend themselves beautifully to the texture of needlepoint yarns and canvas.

So I’ve created more to whet your appetite!

WHITE IRIS

Colours inspired by van Gogh!

I adapted his beautiful range of colours from his painting 'Iris 1889' for this new Art Nouveau design...

soft terra cottas, turquoise, a varied range of greens and purples... with two blue-purple irises and one white!

Voila! 

Two elegant complementary cushions from the same range of colours... one with a deep purple border (above left) and the other with a turquoise border (above right).

They make a tasteful accent on the contemporary sofa below!

A very Art Nouveau combination that fits today's interiors!

We've just completed the White Iris cushion with the turquoise border ready to ship out ......

A  CUSTOM COLOUR SCHEME!

Recently I received a request from a client to change the WHITE IRIS scheme slightly to work with her interior colour décor….. particularly to incorporate the colour of her floor tiles.

Here’s what I came up with! Using her photos as a reference, I developed two schemes…..

YELLOW JASMINE

 

This cushion design, ‘YELLOW JASMINE’, was inspired by the yellow jasmines on my terrace, with their lingering scent, and delicacy!

The yellow jasmine flower,emerging from a rich blue background decorated with soft grey ivy, is bordered by mistletoe leaves and berries on a yellow background.

 

 

 

This 'YELLOW JASMINE' design...

with its very colourful and painterly style...

creates a old-world spirit that sits comfortably in today’s home.

SEAWEED

A lovely organic flowing design of floating seaweed and undulating water... complete with bubbles!

I created a stained glass effect for the water in background to introduce a range of several soft colours of rose, green-gold, grey-blue and mauve.

This wonderful undulating textured design is a great contrast to the sleek straight lines of the contemporary sofa below!



Depending on your colour scheme, you can choose (left to right in photo below) the actual seaweed motif in mid-grey, soft light blue, or a bold fuchsia.
