COMING SOON ... a design called "Anatolia Blue" Cushion Design.

When I asked a question in my last email "What designs would you like to see more of?"in "Ask the ZIVA DIVA!", one out of many responses stood out.

It was from Sioban, who stated "Perhaps you could delve into the Anatolian textiles".

So far I found a few Anatolian designs that will work well, not only as cushion designs, but also as dining chair seat covers.

HERE'S THE FIRST ONE! THANK YOU, SIOBAN!

    ASK THE ZIVA DIVA!

    YOUR QUESTION:

Hi ZIVA, I'm fairly new at needlepoint and wondered how to finish the edges of my canvas. I need some instructions. Thank you,Cathy.

    Hi Cathy,

I've used two edge finishes over the years, one is the Braided Edge stitch and the other is the Loop Edge stitch, as shown.

There are numbers in each photo to follow. The Loop Edge Stitch is probably easier to start for you as a beginner.

I hope either one works for you.

    Best regards,

    Sylvia McLeod
